C 30 S is a polypropylene homopolymer with a good flow properties and is particularly suitable for the extrusion of film yam, monofilament, cast film and sheet. C 30 S combines outstanding process ability with good mechanical properties. C 30 S is particularly suitable to produce film yam with the cast film process. Film yam of C 30 S is used for baler twines, packaging twines and ropes. C 30 Si s well suited for the production of monofilament used for instance in brush and broom filling and technical applications. Other applications of C 30 Sare monolayer or coextruded film for packaging, thin sheet for stationery folders and sheet for thermoforming. C 30 S is also used for the extrusion of straws.
